There are different kinds of applications and tools through which
you can easily convert handwritten material into electronic text and paste it
onto Notepad, Microsoft Word, or PDF files. The text that you want to convert
into soft form doesn’t necessarily be in the form of handwriting form as it may
be a piece of paper with text written, a book, a handbill, an advertisement,
etc. You just need to capture it on your mobile camera and apply the desired
action.
But the problem is that such apps and tools the majority of them
have very complicated operations and sometimes they are not perfect to perform
your desired function as some have irregular typos while others have formatting
oddness. In some cases, these apps perform great but only with clear text or
neat handwriting, not vice versa.
Following is the list of those apps and tools that we examined
ourselves and can give a precise about their usage and functions.
Partial charging is good for battery health
Most of
us try to charge our mobile batteries to a hundred per cent to use them for
more long hours. But, in reality, this practice is completely wrong, especially
in the case of Lithium-ion batteries which are mainly present in our mobile
phones or laptops. The University of Battery has also clarified this fact, that
the habit of charging your battery at one hundred per cent and then emptying it
to zero per cent can damage the battery capacity and reduce the life span of
these Lithium-ion batteries.
On the other hand, charging your mobile phone to a hundred per cent is only advisable under those conditions like when the battery is charging for the first time or when its conditions of charge are fluctuating.
Curtail the charging during times of inactivity
Placing
your mobile in a charger overnight or for long hours during the day times is a
very widespread practice which is considered a threat to the life span of the
battery. There are three reasons for this practice, in the first place,
continuous charging of a charged battery induces plating of the metallic
Lithium which lowers the strength of the battery in the coming times and can
also cause breakdown and abrupt restarting.
Second, it leaves the battery at a high-stress voltage when it is fully charged and thirdly, which is more significant, it produces surplus heat due to inefficient power dispersal.
High temperatures a Threat to the prolonged lifespan of batteries
Heat is
also considered a threat to the longevity of batteries and optimizing their
overall performance. Just in the case of high voltage, increased heat causes
stress in the battery due to which it loses its storage capacity more quickly
compared to the normal state.
Nowadays,
the technology of charging mobile batteries fast has set off debates, because
the higher current and voltage make the devices hotter. Some instruments can
charge at 60W and even some reach 100W producing concerns and its impact on the
battery life span.
However, keeping your mobile phone on high charging for a short span of life like ten to fifteen minutes doesn’t cause any worry but it can create troubles when you keep it for a long period. In short, try to avoid your phone from overheating and hot places.
Utilise a Portable recharger or Power bank
Power banks play a vital role in providing charge to those devices which are experiencing a shortage of charge. These transportable devices play an important job in those conditions when your mobile battery charge is low and there is no possibility of a power outlet. It certainly, helps your battery recharge and avoids low battery shutdowns.
Avoid playing games or streaming videos while charging
As mentioned before, stay away from stressing your mobile phone as gaming, video calling and watching videos distorts the charging cycles. Therefore, it’s good to pause such activities on mobile phones while charging.
Disable background gadgets and apps like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Maps
A
regular factor of battery consumption is the continuous operation of Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth which is constantly using energy in scanning for devices or
connections to connect with it.
Control the brightness of your mobile phone
It’s better to manage the screen brightness of your device because it can greatly reduce battery consumption whether you using a mobile phone or a tablet. Regulate your screen brightness to its lowest readable setting so to avoid battery drainage.
